I work primarily from the Person Centred Approach. This essentially means that YOU are at the centre of the work that we do together.
The therapy is client led, meaning that you are supported to take an active role in your sessions, whereas I take a non-direct and non-judgmental approach. Put simply, you are the expert on your own life, and I respect and understand that.
Through listening to what you choose to bring into the session, together we can work towards helping you feel more like 'you'.
Person centred therapy is highly effective for many client issues, however, should a different form of therapy be better suited this can be discussed in session.
Before we begin working together, I offer an initial session to help identify if the approach I practice from can indeed work well for you.
